Seminar on making cross-border trade simpler: "Values and benefits of a Port Community System, links to Single Window and WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement"
Thanks to the IMO for co-hosting with IPCSA a seminar on 11th April on on making cross-border trade simpler: "Values and benefits of a Port Community System, links to Single Window and WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement”.
The presentations looked at the drivers for Single Window and Cross Border flows of information, then focused down to Port, Maritime and Customs information and process flows, and how they link to both Administrative Processes and Operational Logistical Processes, with concluding examples of SW in Africa and how Djibouti PCS has developed.
