IPCSA confirmed as Supporting Partner of Port Finance International for 2016
The International Port Community Systems Association (IPCSA) is delighted to announce that, following on from its successful 2015 cooperation with the prestigious online journal and conference organiser Port Finance International, it will continue to be a Supporting Partner during 2016.
“This is a very exciting partnership for IPCSA, giving us the opportunity to explain the importance of Port Community Systems in the facilitation of trade, while also promoting these PFI events to our members,” said Richard Morton, secretary general of IPCSA. He added: “2015 provided opportunities to highlight the importance of the electronic exchange of information within a port environment; 2016 will bring new challenges for the industry with the continuing development of Single Window and the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.”
Cathy Hodge, director of PFI, said: “We are delighted to have IPCSA as our Supporting Partner again for 2016 and look forward to working with Richard Morton and the IPCSA members. The facilitation of trade, particularly through the electronic platforms provided by Port Community System operators, is a key issue in port development and we look forward to benefiting from IPCSA’s insight in this area.”
